Data Transmission

 

The User may transmit the requisite data/documentation for the Intermediate (or third) option  in either of two ways: (a) enter such data directly onto the Subsite and transmit such to  SFA by Email or (b) print out the Subsite Form, manually enter such data onto such  Form and transmit such to SFA in one of the traditional ways (PDF, fax or mail).

 

Data uploading is not utilized for three reasons: (a) independent manual data entry is a form of data edit too useful to both the User the Actuary to forfeit, (b) data uploading is believed to be contrary to the letter (as well as the spirit) of the Professional and Practice Guidelines of the American Academy of Actuaries and (c) evidence available demonstrates that the economic gain does not justify the additional effort.
